Tell us a little bit about yourself, you know, what's your elevator pitch? What do you do?
Unknown:So I'm a business and spiritual mindset coach. And what I do is I teach individuals, how to get out of the conditioning of the doing the constantly looking outside ourselves, what's the next thing we have to do and I teach the essence of effortless success, how to create that, and how to lead a more fulfilled life.
John Mendez:Amazing. And so before, you know, you started amassing all the success, and you know, life started turning out a little bit more in your favor, and you started to flourish. And you know, what's the origin story? Tell us a little bit about your walk to wealth. How do you get here?
Unknown:Yeah, I mean, I'm a pediatric chiropractor. That's what I started as. And that's what I I've been doing since 2010. I started I was officially like, you know, a corporation and all that stuff in 2012. But because I love it, but it was, you know, it wasn't an easy road it you know, I started off and I had to go through my struggles. And what I realized after I went through them, like after two years of being in business, I ended up going, I had to make a choice. I was so ambitious that I took put everything on a credit card to start my business and said everything will be fine, I'll figure this out. I don't recommend that advice. Because student loans did a flip on me where they weren't being the companies were easing into like allowing for kind of what they do now. Back then it was the recession hit 2009. I'm just coming out of school. And they were not allowing any breaks. And so that that due to all that pinning up, it was like I said, Well, I can either just let the business go and go work for someone, or I can just go bankrupt. And I'll clear my stuff. And it'll allow me to have a little breathing room to give me a little more time to get this business up and running. And so it took me a year to make the decision, I went bankrupt. But long story short, when I took the time to reflect, again, I'm a mindset coach, I'm looking at, Okay, how did I create this in my life? What are the things that I chose to do with the choices that I make what I put my energy to, and I started to realize that a lot of limiting beliefs around money, and there were some real big ones there. And I'm like, no wonder I couldn't, it was so slow to see this growth. And as soon as I started to look at those and start to look at each of those, and this wasn't like, oh, all of a sudden I just did it, it took a couple years to really get through them. But that's where everything started. It started to take off once I started looking there. And that's where my journey, you know, looking back everything, you know, from there on out. In a couple years, I 3x my sales and 5.5x my profits, and I started to realize it was all mindset at the end of the day. So when I hit my financial peak at that point, that's where I ended up, I was unfulfilled. I was not satisfied because I was being conditioned in the way of what they tell you in business. Doo doo doo doo doo. All right, look outside yourself, grind, hustle, put the sweat equity and you got to sacrifice things in order to be successful. That's just the way it works. And I'm not saying that's not bad advice or anything like that. But there's other ways we can do things that are more effective. And we don't have to go through all that other struggle. We can have our cake and eat it too. And so that's where I started to apply the things I knew in the quantum world started to apply spiritual truths, universal laws, all these things. And so you know, I'm gonna choose my success. I changed my whole entire office around, took a 40% hit on purpose, to correct it to be more of an office of what I wanted. And without doing anything, you know, when I went to become a pediatric chiropractor, I started focusing on that. And my pediatric valium was only 5% At the time, but in six months, it grew to 40%. I didn't do anything different in my office, it wasn't like I hired a to Facebook ads, or I did anything from a business side of doing, I just focused on me in the being element of me. And from that, that created, Matt created the success of what I wanted to have. And once I saw that I was tired of seeing the entrepreneurs get the same advice. And that's kind of how I shifted to coaching.
John Mendez:That's amazing. So that's also kind of why I started this podcast, so you already kind of spoke on is because you know, too many people are gurus. And so that's why I kind of started this podcast give you know, raw, genuine value, like valuable advice. And you mentioned a little bit to about, you didn't realize, you know, all the limiting beliefs you had, until you kind of hit, you know, the rock bottom, and everything hit the fan. There's a saying, I'm gonna butcher it, but I don't wear it as well, which pretty much goes something along the lines of your mistakes, you don't notice them until the I guess the weight saving mistakes is too too heavy to burden anymore. So they just kind of add on add on add on. And by the time you actually notice you got a giant anchor attached to it like and you can't move at all, you're just stuck because the weights, it seemed as if no little decisions here and there, limiting beliefs here and there that may seem like small little things. And then you get stuck in a situation, whether that's three months in the future six, seven, maybe a year, maybe five years down the road, and you're just absolutely stuck. Because all that you finally noticed the weight that you were accruing, behind you now leaves a lot of people were in a point where they don't really know what to do at all. But you fortunately, were able to take a step back have the, you know, maturity to, you know, look in the mirror, and go from there. And I guess a great way to since we're kind of on the topic is, you know, a lot of people we look in the mirror for physical reasons, we never take a chance to look in the mirror. So it's like in terms of our mindset and what we're actually thinking. So like, how do you think, you know, a lot of us are trapped, kind of like this mental prison. And if limiting beliefs and like, you know, conditioning that whether it was you know, external, or you know, it was brought up in our household, wherever that conditioning comes from maybe like the societal, how can one start to like, elevate and kind of like break free from that?
Unknown:Yeah, that's a great question. I mean, because we were all conditioned, even even as much as I teach and share on the stuff I'm conditioned to, because it's it, there's always layers to this stuff, there's always things to expose. So you know, 95% of your life is dictated by your subconscious mind. And so your subconscious, it means you're unaware of it. You know, you don't know that this is happening. You don't know that. Like, like I said, I went bankrupt, and I had limiting beliefs that were getting there was negative, there was negative, limiting negative beliefs about money. And like, I remember I wrote my first book, I wrote 10 of them in there. And I was like, I had nine of them. I mean, it wasn't like it was there was some and these were conditioned at a young age. It's not like someone told me, you know, some people say like money, you think money grows on trees, everybody heard that one. Or money, you need money to make money. I mean, I'm I grew up learning that one. But there's other ones that are the unspoken word, where you see, sometimes I grew up in blue collar family, you see families or family in general, or just people, the energy, the attachment, they have to money, you absorb that as a kid, you think that's truth. And so then you're conditioned in that way without even knowing it. And so it's very interesting. But to start the journey of breaking through or just becoming aware, it's all about awareness at the end of the day, so you want it to understand that to really tap in under be aware of what's going on in your subconscious mind. It's not like we can just read somebody's like, here, here you go, here's your list, you're gonna have to do some work with us. And what I mean by is, what your first thing I always say is like, when I look at something that triggers you, if somebody does something, or says something to you, and it triggers you, that's a limiting belief under there somewhere. There's something that's making you propel, and the more you have a huge, the bigger the trigger, the more you resist and hold in that your attachment to that limiting belief. And so the more you're like repressing it down, and so that's where it's like a ticking time bomb just opens up. And so, a lot of times, that's what's going to give us awareness to start asking questions or start looking at why why did i Why did I let that get to me so much. What did that remind me of? What is that trying to tell me? You know, because a lot of times, that's going to be someone else in your life back in the day between zero and seven years old, that either said something to you or was you know, did something or you saw something and it built then this conditioning? And you and it's not like you just You were like, Oh, wow, here it is, it could be as something as simple because in today's age, a lot of people are on phones, it can be just a four year old want to get their parents attention, and they see him on the phone all the time, then what happens is, is they're gonna think that the phone is more important than them, and they're gonna have a self worth issue. I mean, it's so simple as that, that the programming can happen because you got to understand from a child from age zero to seven, their brain is so impressionable. The brainwaves are slower. So a lot of the things they experienced in life, they think it's truth, they don't have a logical mind, their left brain is not even fully developed. They don't get into Logic until age seven to 12. And usually around 12 is where the logic fully comes in, where they can start to decipher things a little bit, and so forth. And so triggers are one of the easiest way, the other thing is just look at patterns in your life. You know, if you don't think you have limiting beliefs, the money well, if you're not making the money that you want, you're not growing to the levels that you want. And you see the same money coming in, you see the same issue showing up or you see the same pattern of like how you react to debt, or you react to a low point, or whatever it may be. There's a limiting belief there somewhere, and that's gonna open the door, because it's really just a code. It's just a, it's just a belief that, hey, this is how life works. And you can believe that because you're giving power to it, you believe it to be true, you can literally just as in the matter of a second, just choose not to let that belief system serve you anymore, and decide to choose a new belief system, a belief, that is one that is serving of you, that empowers you. And then you just have to put all your focus and energy to it. And that's a game changer. I know that's very simple and exponent explaining it. Because that's how simple it could be. But there's attachments and emotions. And the longer it's been there, usually our mind messes with us and makes takes a long time to make that change.
John Mendez:Yeah, there's a couple of great, amazing points you want to add that I want to touch on. The first one being the 95% of our mind, or our daily actions or our life actions is, you know, brought by our subconscious and people don't realize it, our subconscious never sleeps, we sleep at least six to eight hours, most of us that are sleep, get it you know, or maybe more some people, right, right there that whole entire time. So that's a third of your life away, right now that you're sleeping, but your subconscious is on right there. So at the bare minimum, at least a third of your life is road by yourself subconscious right there. Then on top of that, driving, walking, eating all these other things, you're running on autopilot, your brain doesn't waste energy on this stuff says right there, you're still being watered by your subconscious. And all our daily actions are pretty much except for maybe a few things here and there maybe at work, or maybe when you're with your friends, that you know, you have to make conscious thought. But like, the majority of your day, you're just on autopilot. And I've read one thing, I don't know how true it is not a neuroscientist, but um, I was saying that by the time you're 35, I think like 99%, or like 95%, or like maybe closer, like a very high percentage of your neurological pathways already set. And so by the time you're 35, and older, it's a lot harder to you know, spark that change, and, you know, start over, because all this conditioning, to use this, you know, language we're kind of using is already set and not really in stone. But it's, you know, it's, it's in there, it's deep in there. And you know, you have to start peeling away the onion a little bit to get down to like, you know, what is actually triggering me? What, you know, why did I feel like this. And then another thing I wanted to touch on too, was when you talked about as well like about your patterns, you know, what's continuous in your life, you know, once something continent, a lot of people and I use dating just because it's the easiest example, a lot of people for example, I can't find a good partner, all the partners out with, you know, that something bad to me, they cheated on me, they abused me something bad. It's like, you know, you have to look at what's the common denominator in all those situations, if you don't learn a triangle, if you don't learn lessons that, you know, are being in front of you, God who sent the same person, just in a different body, right? Until you learn that lesson. And like, it's a it'll happen content, you know, over and over repeatedly. And so you finally get the, you know, the message that, hey, maybe there's a certain thing that I'm doing that's attracting these people that is attracting these situation, this is traveling this this low pay, you know, attract, attracting all these other things. And people don't realize that and then they continuously find themselves in these situations. And then the part that I want to add on to it's like, people, it's so easy, especially now, nowadays, to point the finger and say, if you don't take accountability, you don't have control. And so if you're constantly pointing the finger somewhere else, and not taking the time to reflect and assess, you know what's going on in your mind and you know what's going on in your life and, you know, what could you possibly change? You're just never gonna have control of your own life because you gave the control to someone else once you pointed a finger If that point person or thing or place or system or, you know, is not you, you're going to have to wait for that person thing or, you know, place to change. And if they're not changing, then your life most certainly won't change, it's just pretty much just be a slave to whoever you just made your master by giving up your own accountability, essentially.
Unknown:I mean, 100%, it's, you know, it's interesting, you know, you bring up the neuroscience, I mean, yeah, your brain 35. Afterwards, it gets fixed in a state to think this is life, that's the end of it. And that's, that's what it is. It doesn't mean you can't make changes you still you still can, it just you have to be open to it. And always be from a perspective place to know that, hey, there's always things I can learn, there's always things I can grow, there's always things I can do this. So nothing's ever fixed. If you have that belief, in that perspective, you won't be fixated on that. But I like the relationship thing. That's another great way to do that. That comes up a lot with sometimes with clients looking at patterns they do in relationships, to uncover things. And because sometimes in business, they don't think it shows up or they don't see it. Or sometimes we'll talk about something in business that they're working with. And all of a sudden, is a limiting belief is not a limiting belief is not specific to one area in your life. You know, you can have, if you have a low self worth, well guess what that's gonna show up in relationships, that's gonna show up with finances, that's gonna show up in business that's gonna show up in your health that's going to show up in your mindset, you know, it's going to show up in every facet of your life. And that's the critical thing where, you know, sometimes relationships can be a beautiful door, cuz some people be like, Oh, my God, I didn't even know I did that. Or oh, my goodness, I keep saying this, oh, my God, I keep folks fixating on this one thing. And I'm like, you know, you're looking at the negative all the time, you're not looking at the positive, or you're not being grateful for all the other things. And they're like, Wow, it's only in this, I do that. Okay, let's look at this. Let's look at your business. We've been talking about business for a little bit. Let's look at here, here, here. Look how when this happens, look what you say here. That no, like, crap, I didn't see that. That's like, okay, let's let's work on that. Let's change that. And it's so fascinating. Because once they make that change, then all of a sudden, their vibration changes when the vibration changes, their reality changes. And when that changes, now they can actually manifest and see, holy cow, okay, this whole vibration thing works. Because when you're bringing up responsibility, I always say to, you know, we were conditioned in society, especially in America to have a victim mentality. I mean, just look at this, look at what's on the news. All it's because of this, oh, it's because of that, oh, it's because of this, you're disempowering yourself. And people don't realize it. So they fight for causes, and they're disempowered, but they don't realize they're fighting for disempowerment, which is the opposite of what they really want. And when you look at vibration, you have to understand everything happens through as you are not to you not even through you, it's as you are, as you are just means the vibration and where you are, you're a magnet, you attract it. So if you start like I went bankrupt, I had to be real with myself, I had to literally say, I know spiritual laws. I know, spiritual and universal laws. I studied these things. You know, I've been studying for quite some time. So when I had that happen, I was like, Okay, how did I attract this? Like, what are the things that I put energy into? How did they what it was the vibration of imbibing it that it created these situations, and literally all it was, is it was more of a focus thing. And I allowed fears to get in the way. And I put my energy into these these little, little me beliefs that were just guiding me into fear, fear, fear, and what happens when you put your focus on where you're gonna see more of it. And they kept doing that until I finally was like, Okay, I'm going to go through this process, but the same token, I'm going to own up to where was I putting my energy to? What was my vibration that? And how am I going to change that? So that way, I don't go through this experience ever again. And once you learn that, you know, once you understand everything is a vibration, you can just change it to what you need it to be, then all of a sudden, you know, you you change your whole entire reality, but it has to come from you.
John Mendez:Yeah, and there's two, we call it board loss at Keller Williams. And you take you learn them, when you take this class called board that's offered at Keller Williams, there's two that you made me think of the first one is change the way you look at things and the things you look at change. And then you accompany that with, you know, what you focus on expands, which is exactly what you were hitting on, is you have to ask yourself, you know what, why? Why did this happen? How did I end up in this situation? And I love that you brought up vibrations, because a lot of people and it's so cringy to me, because I was so like on social media, everyone just blurting out all of the law of attraction, the law of attraction, but it's like, do you actually understand what's going on behind that? Because if you really did, you will know that that's a secondary law. That law is second to the vibration, you attract what you're vibrating, right? And so it's like, everyone's like, Oh, he's no in law of attraction. I just think this and it's like, no, it's not that simple. It's like, you could think whatever you'd like, what energy you know, are you moving? Are you moving with high positive energy? Because if not, you're never going to receive you know, high positive things because you're still functioning out of that low frequency negative, you know, stressful energy that's just not doing any good for anyone, including yourself, especially for your health. And so, I wanted to talk to you a little bit more to what we're here about, like, you know, some concrete universal truths that kind of just transcend time that, for example, the law of vibration, no matter you know, 1800 years ago, whatever to have our office, we're long here on this planet, it's you that will remain constant and, you know, stand the test of time. So are there any other laws such as like that, that kind of have been able to help you in your situation and stuff that you teach your clients when you're, you're coaching them?
Unknown:Oh, yeah, massively. I mean, you know, you hit it on the mark, I see so many times on social media that, you know, you got business coaches, and mindset coaches really speak on these things. And I'll listen, I'll read some of them. And I'm just like, they're just blurting the same something that someone else said, or an article said, unfortunately, that's, that's a lot of business practice. Right now. I was part of a group one time and that's all there. We're talking about, like, follow people who are big and look what they do and just copy them. I'm like, That's not authentic. That goes against spiritual stuff, and you sharing your soul's purpose and like, Yeah, but it works. And we get we make money. And I'm like, wow, okay. The love of money is the root of all evil. That's it right there. Because you're trading who you are for the love of money. I rather, you know, I say this very bluntly, I'd rather not be successful if I had to trade myself for something like that. Because I want to be who I am, because there's a uniqueness to who I have and so forth. So let's get some laws then. So law vibrations, number one, law of attraction, as you were sharing is number two, then that leads the law of manifestation. So they work in threes that way. But there's so many others. I mean, like what I teach a lot is, I when I work with clients, one on one, it's all about the vibration, where they are some managing energy all day with them trying to see where their energy where their vibes are, where the headspace is. The reason why is because what I teach when I set out for I teach effortless success, I get back everything I do with science. This is where my doctorate, you know, being a doctor of chiropractic, you know, I'm very, one of the big things that were very scientific in a lot of things. And so coming with science, like I can't say anything, if I don't in the public without backing it with science, it's just what I'm held to as a standard. Well, I also hold that standard for myself as a coach. And so when I say something like effortless success in the business world, like you got effortless action that leads to effortless success. And in the business world, I get I get people coming at me hardcore with it, because I know you have to work hard work hard is only thing that does it. Yeah, Grant Cardone says that he's worth 2.6 billion. I get that. Yeah, he I've seen him say it on tick tock. He also bashed the thinking Grow Rich book, but he doesn't, because here's a video of him. He's like, this book says you can think it and make it happen. He goes, I'm not saying that. That isn't true. He's like, I don't know, I think but he goes, What I know is you got to work, you got to take action or to make things happen at the end of day action is rules, everything. And I was just like, the guy's worth 2.6 billion. He knows he knows what he's doing. He's definitely has beyond way more net worth than I do. So I'm not bashing the guy. But we bash what we don't understand. That's human nature. And so when you're looking at the law of love, I'm sorry, effortless action, you have to understand that the law of vibration when you vibrate, let's say you want to be a millionaire, you can be vibrating as being in the vibration of a millionaire, but you look at your bank account, it may not be there, your state may be whatever it was yesterday or the day before. That's okay. Because what the law of vibration states is that when you're in that vibration, everything else, that's when you can start to attract that reality to so the ideas, people circumstances and situations are going to come to you, they are going to come to you no matter what. And this is different than what we've been taught because this is the world of quantum everything in business is taught in Newtonian physics force work this in that you're in real estate. So there's always that my wife used to be in real estate, I'm going to I don't remember all the stats on this. But there's like a certain number of like, how many people have to reach out to to get to this point, and all of a sudden you get one lead, how many leads come from that. And then from those leads, and you get this many people and that's going to close this person. That's Newtonian physics, right? It's the same thing. And just to kind of give your listeners an example. It's like the story of David and Goliath. When we look at things from a Newtonian physics standpoint, in the way business is being taught, and how we should become successful. It's all about instead of just David and Goliath, they just took he took a one stone and threw it. But that's not how it's taught. What they tell you is keep throwing stones until one of them hits. Yeah, and then you're like, Great, then keep throwing stones again until another one hits. And that's fine. Again, that's there's nothing wrong with that there's a lot of successful people that have done that. There comes a cost, you're giving up energy, anytime you do force energy, because you have to give up something. That's why they say you have to sacrifice. What they do is they share all the rules in their world of physics and Newtonian. Because you do have to sacrifice you have to give up things. That's why 60% of entrepreneurs are burned out actually from Forbes, it says leaders, but 60% of leadership is burned out. So it's one of those things where this this model doesn't work. And this is why people struggle so much to become successful. It doesn't have to be that way. And so in the quantum world, when you get to a law of vibration, you're going to have something called the law of inspired action kick in and the law of inspired action means you're going to be propelled and pulled to taking action or you're going to Have an idea come out of nowhere that you just can't stop thinking about every time you think about it gets you more excited. That's when you're being guided. And what you're doing is you're all you have to do is just say what you want, like I want to create, I see myself as being XYZ or I have a vision of this. And then your job is just to manage that vibe, and know that you're going to be guided to that place. But what we're taught as humans is we don't like uncertainty, we want to figure all the steps out. And so every time you get into the mind, you create resistance, and you're gonna create complexity. And it's gonna take longer to get there. So three things. But that's the law of inspired action, I can share a ton of others, there's law of gestation, which means that everything has a time period. Everything does in the whole physical world, it takes nine months for a baby to be born, you just can't have it instantly, there's a timeframe for you to get to the level where we want to get to successfully, there's a timeframe for every little thing. So there's that one, there's, you know, law, perpetual transformation of energy states that we're always changing. Energy is always changing forms, that is not only just in this life, so like, you know, like I'm at this certain energy level, now, I can focus and shift it to another level. And it's constantly always changing. That's also that law also shows how we are infinite as souls, we don't die ever, because we're going to change from our energies in this body form right here. But when we pass out, we're going to transfer our energy over into another form. And we constantly do this forever and ever and ever and ever. But yeah, those are just a few I can go on and on with these, but just wanted to share a couple,
John Mendez:ya know, one of them that I wanted to, like, touch on is the power of visualization. Because I know using that, you know, that you'd be able to really like manipulate energy to create the kind of like the reality of your dream, manifest that into the real world. So have you been able to use the power of visualization?
Unknown:Yeah, I use it all the time. I recommend it highly. Here's, here's a couple truth. So I like to back some science up with this. So you got neuroscience. And so the brain can't tell the difference between what is real and what you see with your eyes and what you imagine. So what that means is, is if you imagine yourself, let's say, you know, let's say you have a fear of fear is one of the easiest ways to understand this. I have a fear of sharks. Have I ever been around a shark? No, I've ever been bitten by a shark? No. So why the heck do I have a fear of sharks? Well, it's a made up programming conditioning pass for my family, just general generational stuff passed down somewhere, I don't know. But I have this whole vision of what it is to fear shark, right, I've created that. So but then there's other things I've created to to be successful, I've also created not to, so when you use your imagination, you are tricking the brain to think it's real. And then the brain has to eventually ego this way ego works is once you really are believing into that, then it has to start to show you how that's true. Because that's what your brain is designed to do. And so this is now not only this is what I call leveraging the mind now. And so that's one aspect of it, where how you see it, you know, utilizing neuron neuroscience to really tap into using the power of visualization. But I use visualization every single day, I visualize myself into the future. In seeing myself, it's like a movie in my head, I see myself walking, how I talk, how I interact with people, you know, the energy I'm bringing every single day to the table? How do I feel every single day in that moment in the future, and then I pull that into my reality. You can use visualization for everything I've seen studies done, where they've seen muscle growth for those who did work out versus those who did it and just use visualization. I've seen conditioning from neuro programming or what we call neuroplasticity. So that just means that how the brain learns and creates new circuitry. People who practice the piano for a week versus who didn't, they had the same exact neuroplasticity. I mean, this is this is this is so powerful in so many ways that we're just starting to understand how it can really, truly manipulate matter. And really shift things. I mean, there's people that have visualized, you know, Dr. Joe Dispenza, he's a chiropractor and teachers talks a lot about this. And what he does is, is he, he looked, he had a very severe spinal compression issue. So here's bones that have compressed and all this, he used the power of visualization to repair that. So it's we're just starting to understand the power of what our minds can do and how much we can truly manipulate energy and shift and change it. And like I said, Well, I'm only showing one principle quantum physics as another one that ties into that, and I can show that if you want but but just tricking the mind to knowing that it is it can't tell the difference in what your imagination is the versus what real is or what you see with your eyes. And so why not use your imagination, why not create this is what I try to get my clients to do every single day is just to be a kid again.
John Mendez:Yeah, and so that's an I got a couple of good points to talk about from here. The first one being is that it just slipped my mind. So it goes to the second one. You said about being a kid again. And when imagination there we go. I remember I remember my first point. So with that pornography is something that plagues young adult young men, you know, across our country, especially in the US terribly. It's, you know, It's sickening how addicted people are to this. And people never realize it. And it desensitizes you to actual human contact. Because as you said, your brain can't tell the difference. And this is kind of when I was introduced to the law of power of visualization, because I learned that you're pretty much as your brain gets wired as if your brain was on drugs, if you check, you know, the neurological pathways and like how, what fires and what doesn't, and brain activity, and a brain from someone who does, I think it was, I think they use I forget which drug don't quote me, I think it was cocaine. And someone who watches has a porn addiction, and their brain activity was exactly the same. And so like, your brain can't tell the difference. And now it's like, it thinks in your head that you have a harem of women, women, you know, around that at all times, and then you lose touch with the actual world. And another thing I wanted to talk about that I heard from another podcast, is that your brain works in states, right you like if you're in a creative state, and you could also be in a logical state, a lot of people what they do is new in our constant logical state, you know, they're in a job, they're working nine to five, and then their boss calls him for a random pop up, meet him at 12 for lunch. And then they have 30 minutes for lunch, to brainstorm the next big idea to for the next big company, you know, or the next big, you know, innovative thing that's going to be groundbreaking hit the market and stuff. And it's like, your brain can't transition, you know, is an object in motion stays in motion, motion kind of thing. It's like you can't just stop and stop and start a whole nother way of thinking. And that's why people don't, you know, come up with creative ideas, that's why they get burned out, is because they're not in that creative state, because they would work out of their logic state so much, that they didn't prep into coming into that creative zone. And thus, their creativity, then, or at least their creativity potential, then significant can significantly minimizes, because they weren't in a creative state naturally, now, whereas if they started the day, you know, maybe they played some basketball, if they liked basketball, listen to some music had a walk, they're prepping their mind for that creative space. And now when they have to come up with new ideas, because their brain was already working out of the creative brain, then they can then create more innovative, more productive, better ideas, because they were already in that state of mind. And then there's one more problem so I, I got these from several podcasts that I'm kind of all tying together. And this is one of my so the story of Peter Pan. Are you familiar with it at all?
Unknown:Refresh my memory started before.
John Mendez:So pretty much Peter Pan pretty much. And I got this idea from Jordan Peterson. He's a podcast that I listened to. Extremely. He's a psychologist, extremely, extremely intelligent guy. And pretty much he was saying so. Peter Pan is the story of Neverland, right? He never wants to grow up he's a kid forever. The problem with being a kid is that you're nothing but infinite potential. And the the pirate that chases captain, can I forget his name? A captain is a Catholic good. No, I forgot to hook Captain Hook. There we go. Captain Hook, he chases peter pan around. Captain Hook pretty much resembles you know, adulthood. And alligator that's constantly chasing Captain Hook is pretty much resembles time. And as you become an adult time is always constantly chasing you. And that's why Peter Pan wants to stay in Neverland because he never wants to become an adult. But the you it's a constant like contrast. Because when you're a child, your infinite potential, right, but when your infinite potential in the real world is actually nothing, nothing's actually manifested out into the real world, you can't actually achieve anything, it's just all locked up away. And but in order to reach that state of adult, you know, become an adult, and actually achieve some of that potential, you have to give up you have to sacrifice and I know, we were talking against sacrificing, but if you want to be the best basketball player, more often than not, you're not going to the NFL as well, you're most likely not going to the MLB you're not, you know, you might you might get to run, you know, track in the Olympics. But more often than not, if you want to become high class in any particular year, you're most likely going to have to sacrifice walking down other doors because, you know, we have three main things, you know, and that are finite, we have a lot of finite things time, you know, our energy, you know, all those things are finite. So it's always to become, you know, world class at one particular thing. You know, there's only so much we can learn, and so much time that we have to then practice that and we have to make a choice as to you know, which route I'm going to go down because but you still have to at the same time keep that kid so you're in kind of like an always Having that, you know, childlike mind, but then also being an adult and putting it out to the real world. And it's constant like battle because you want to be creative. But then you also want to actually do something, because creativity is what is good. If you're not like not done.
Unknown:No, of course, of course I hear you. Yeah, you know, when we look at the the concept, what you're sharing here about something like if I choose NFL or NBA or whatever, let's say we got a few options there. Sacrifice means you have to give up one for the other. Non sacrifice means I'm choosing the one I love. I choose what I enjoy. I choose what fires me up, there's no sacrifice with the other because you're choosing that, like, I chose to be a chiropractor, and I focus more on the pediatrics. It wasn't because some business model told me to do it wasn't because some I got to be niche into something. It was just I saw a need and kids and I was fired up to help them. And through that everything I did, working with them. I mean, working with kids is phenomenal. for many different reasons. One, they can't logically tell me what's going on with you know, they can't logically process how they're getting better, especially an infant. But the other thing is, I was able to be a kid. And so there was so much joy in that that you forget everything else. You forget all the other things that are possibly out there, because you're so focused on this is what I want, right. And so when you're looking at being a kid, endless possibilities are infinite possibilities are always there for you. It's our role as an adult to tune in as a child to the child does this. The only problem is as adults we don't because we get too much in our head, but choosing what it is that you enjoy. So like when I work with a client. And let's say they're want to start a business, I work with startups too, and so forth are some that don't even have a business and there but they want to do something different. And so I'll work with him. And the first thing I always ask is What will you do, that you love to do that you would do for free regardless if you get paid? That is one of the things I always try to emphasize on the most. And the second thing I'll always say is what is you know, let's let's figure out what your gifts are. Gifts means your soul's purpose, your what you have that no one else has. You see there's a there's something called the Pauli exclusion principle to quantum mechanic, quantum mechanics definition that states there are no two things in the universe that are identical. And I'm just paraphrasing all the research on that. But there's no two things are identical. That means there's no two humans ever there's no there will be another another Victor Manzo ever hear on the on all of existence from the past and in the future in humanity. There will never be another soul that exists, you know, who's me or yourself, compared to all the gazillion infinite souls that exist to hold tight. That's just the principle. And so when we share our gifts, so he said there was a limit to energy, well, there actually isn't a limit to energy. Here. Let me explain why. Because when you share your gift, you are sharing source energy onto the world, you're sharing what matters most to you. That's called inspiration. When you're inspired, that means in spirit, all of a sudden, what you do in that matter, fuels you and continues to fuel you. Like if it was up to me and I go wrong, we can have an argument say, Well, you gotta go to sleep eventually totally agree with you and go to sleep. But like when I wake up every single morning, I am excited to get up and get on my day. Like I have energy, I don't eat coffee, I just get up and like I've done interviews, like at five in the morning with people like in Australia and stuff. And I'm like, it's five in the morning. How are you still? How are you so wired? How much coffee Did you drink? Like, I haven't had any coffee? Like, wait, you gotta have something you're so energized. Like, I'm talking just like this with them. And I'm like, you're gonna say I'm excited for the day. I'm excited what brings on the day, I have no idea what's going to show up that I have an idea. But I it's exciting to see what's going to bring, and to be able to live another day and be able to enjoy this moment what I can experience and help to make myself help improve myself or get one more one 2% Closer where I'm at, man, I'm excited. And it's one of those things where that's where the difference of the world is when we come in from that place, then we all of a sudden can have this energy to where we can focus on where we want to more and we can put those things in the into that kind of a way. But when you choose what you love to do, there's no sacrifice there isn't because like I remember, it was a big baseball guy. So I play for 25 years of my life. And I've had some I had some opportunities, some fell short. Some just stupid injuries that came up, but I couldn't believe it, but it is what it is. But when I decided to finally walk away and be like, You know what, I'm, I'm going to I'll still play baseball, but I'm not going to try to aspire to the MLB anymore, just getting in the minor leagues. I wasn't bothered by it at all because I was so passionate about helping people in chiropractic. You see, I didn't have a lost I didn't I still don't look back. I don't miss I mean, like don't get me wrong. I haven't played baseball in a while. So it's like it's almost been 10 years. And so I'm like it'd be cool to get out and play baseball again. Like I think about it. When I see people playing in the car. I would love to get back out in the field. But that's just for fun. Like there's no like, there's not like, Oh, I missed the days of this. I don't have any of that. You know, I just have the moment of, of, you know, when you love what you do, you don't you don't experience the lack or the loss or, or what you didn't have, what you're choosing how you went this route versus that route, because you're living a fulfilled life. And that's fulfillment. And that's something that I truly believe, is truly success. That's what success really is, is just finding fulfillment in your life. Because when you do that, it's a game changer for everything. Because then you'll never see lack. You're never you don't have bad days. I mean, they're gonna come but you're not going to be stuck there. They will process through and so much
John Mendez:more. Yeah, I love that you said that. I have a share of what I thought from there. And then I have a question for you. I love that you said fulfillment is what success really isn't subset success is subjective to everyone. But I genuinely feel like one of the things that's plaguing our society, is that how I'm living my best life, oh, you know, I live my best life, I want to be happy. And it's like, you know, that is the worst thing because I've, I got this idea from someone else. But like, I do find it true that life for the most part itself, is suffering. And despite that suffering, we as humans are made optimally to thrive and flourish and transcend that suffering. So for to me when I hear people think of it, because you know, there always come a time where you know, someone passes away, we might lose a pet, we might, you know, have to give up something, or whatever, then that come like, no matter how positive of a mindset we are, something will always happen. We're all human, right? And it's like, oh, you know, I can't say that I'm, I want to smile through this one. Because this one hurts, you know, has always come something. And if your life pursuit is happiness, one that's selfish, but to its happiness, one know, something comes up, you know, whatever it is, when something that's not positive, or, you know, it could be bad or whatever, when something bad or negative comes up. If life is, you know, your life pursue is happiness, and you're not happy, then you're suffering. And because your life pursuit of happiness, now you're suffering, you have no happiness. So now you're pretty much suffering for no reason. And when you're suffering for no reason, metaphorically speaking, that's what that's how you're suffering, your life purpose is out the window, who's no longer happy, and now you're suffering. And so because your reason for living is out the way to happiness, and you're suffering, now you're suffering for no reason, you're pretty much in a in a state of infinite torture, essentially. And that's why I feel like happiness is not a good pursuit to kind of go down it's fulfillment. Because happiness just like any other, every other thing is an emotion, it comes in and goes, you know, enjoy it while it's there. And you get more of in your life, you know, appreciate it, cherish it, be grateful for it. But no, it shall pass just like everything else. If you're angry one point in time, you know, you dropped your coffee on your brand new white tea, it shall pass, you know, the motion will come and go. And so fulfillment kind of helps you transcend whatever, you know, comes along in life. Because it's a purpose. It's an actual purpose that is larger than life. It's larger than you, you're being fulfilled. And probably in den some if you're really pursuing what your gifts are, you know, for example, this podcasting stuff, like I was at a point in time where like, I first started off, I was getting getting maybe, you know, 10 downloads, and like, three of them, were probably me, per episode. And then, you know, I got to a point where I kept going, why I'm not getting paid for this, I got to pay, you know, I had to pay for my equipment, I had to pay monthly for all the software and stuff. And it's like, I'm not even neutral, I'm losing money. Every month, I'm doing this, I just love doing I love getting on these, you know, these conversation, I love talking to people, I love the fact that I have, you know, I'm building an audience of people that, you know, especially young adults that, you know, half the that can hear this valuable information that you probably wouldn't get elsewhere. And you know, I'm just keep on doing it. And and as you said, back to what we were talking about earlier, I started calling myself the number one wealth building podcast in Connecticut. Next thing, you know, I got a whole bunch of people lined up for shows where I was at a point in time, if you check my earlier episodes, all my previous interviews, like my first my earlier, interviews are all split into two episodes. Why? Because that gave me two weeks of time, instead of one week of time to find a new guest, because at that time, I didn't have anyone to come on the show. And now we're approaching a time where by the time this episode drops, I'm probably going to be almost three, four or five months ahead in terms of content and episodes to release. All because I started shifting my framework about how I viewed my podcast and I was like, I'm just gonna call myself the number one wealth winning podcast and just, you know, maneuver as such. And sure, slowly but surely, things started popping up opportunities. People reach people reaching out and quiet and stuff because so all that stuff that we were talking about earlier in this podcast, is literally playing out in my life right now, as we speak with this podcast. Now I need this Richard on to real estate because I need to start closing some real estate deals, but like, uh, you know, things, you know, I can lost my train of thought but they as you start, you know, adopting that mentality of everything, and pursuing your actual life purpose and having a purpose. That is the saying if you can accomplish what, you know your goal in this life, you're not thinking big enough. So you have to strive for something that's bigger than you, in hopes that someone else picks it up. While you know why when you pass a, you know, sort of, you know, eventually, but it's like, because you know, you'll never be able to reach it, I'll keep you constantly striving to do more. And if that if you're pursuing something that's selfless, that's going to then fulfill you because as humans, we all feel good. For the most part, I have, no matter how much in the now we are, when we help other people. And so it's like, if you can find some selfless way of giving back to the world, and just making sure you leave the world a better place, that fulfillment that you're gonna receive, is gonna carry you through so many bad days, good days, you know, help you find so much success for you and your loved ones. And be able to just help you grow in pretty much all your areas of life to live, you know, whole fulfilled life, like in a holistic way, not just you know, financially, you're not just emotionally, you're not just mentally below them spiritually, everything all in one mentally, all in one.
Unknown:That's why I teach fulfillment in every aspect with everyone I work with, because that's the end of the day. The things you'll get from there, you take on in the afterlife, you don't those don't stay here, they come with you. And that's the stuff that really makes us unique in so many different ways rather than what we were seeing in the world today of just copying and following. And this and that, and all this stuff. It's, I'm all about let's forget everything and just, there's, there's, I say forget everything. But we have to break things down of our conditioning to get to a neutral point to then we can say, Okay, what do you really want? What do you want to create for your life, right? Because at the end of the day, that's what's going to matter the most, you know, if you can go, what I love to do the most, and I've done this in my life a couple times a few times now. And it's been so empowering, is that when I can choose literally like picking a movie out on Netflix, right? And I can just do it in that way. And I know it's called on a workout, I don't have to figure anything out, I just got to focus on my vibration. And I chose what I want. This is what matters most to me, here's why it does. And I go through this whole process. And then all of a sudden, whatever that timeframe is because I really don't care about the time. You see, anytime we put limits on stuff. That's a limit. I gotta have this in six months. You're in the mind. You're not in the heart. All but I should see it in this timeframe. because so and so did it. Yeah, but that's not your path. You're in the mind, not in the heart. And so you'll you'll see, there's the ego, like I said, the mind complexity makes it creates resistance, which makes it harder to achieve why's takes longer. And it complexes things, it makes things so complex in so many ways. And so it's looking at them in a different way. But knowing you can do that, and then you do it. That is so rewarding. That is one of the most rewarding things for me, because it's like I chose this holy cow. I literally went for the moon. And yeah, or let's say I shot for the stars and landed on the moon. Hell, I'm I'm out of space. This is awesome. This is great. Look at it. Look at what happened in my life. Well look at you're not like the same person. I don't give a crap. This is what I did. Like I don't it's not an ego thing. It's just I chose it. And now then it becomes what else can I do? What else would I like to do? Or whatever? What do I what I what I want to experience in life. And then it gets to a point where this is where a lot of people have issues with and I've gotten both I've been on both sides of this argument is when's enough enough? When will you be satisfied? Now, I'm not saying never stop growing. That's not what I mean here. But there comes a point when enough is enough for you enjoy the process of what you do. But a lot of times we've been conditioned, no, we got to keep having more. We got to keep growing more. We got to keep having all these other things. And there are very few people I know who are successful to where they're satisfied with their success. And they're just in they love what they do. So they're in there. They're embedded into what they love, and they can care less about how much money they make, what they acquire, if you saw the car they drove you saw what they wore, you wouldn't think they're a multimillionaire, and they're just but they've they're content with what they created for themselves. And they say I have all that I need. You know, I've created other things to help funnel monies with a nonprofit and done this over here, the help society and I'm trying to get back as much as I can. But I don't want to I don't want to get bigger I don't want to make more money I don't want I don't care about those things. And so you always ask questions some people's when's enough enough? What's your what do you when do you feel like okay, I've done I'm not saying you're not going to continue growing because if you look at like some of the billionaires like Warren Buffett and a couple other ones they they can't give their money away fast enough. They just can't. They're in this act of service. But one thing too much I wanted to tap on really quick is to is like, you know, life's gonna have always have ups and downs. But if you can shift your perspective to see the down as a blessing, no matter how it shows up, no matter what it is, whatever meaning you put on it, because like some people say, death, yeah, my, my parents are alive, my dad or mom go, I'd be, I'd be wrecked. But I will grow so much from that process. I already know that. I know, 100% For sure. Because I've had grandparents that passed away, they were very close to me. And I know I grew as hugely as a human being when that happened. Because when people leave this world, what people don't realize is they give us a gift. It's a gift in the memories of what they taught us or just having the experience with them, they give us gifts. And if you really look at it from that perspective, you'll never have a lower the passing of a loved one. I mean, you're gonna go through the experience, like any human being would. But then when you go to get back to your state of reflecting, it will be easily it'll be hard for you to stay in that state of grief and all that when you focus on looking at this as Okay, where's that gift? Or where's that? Where's the hump? You know, where's the growth going to come from that the same thing is in business and finance, everything is there to help you and support you in your life to level up to the next level of where you want to go. And if you look at it from that, but I wrote a whole book on this. But if you look at that, from that perspective, then all of a sudden, it will shift your mind to never allow something to consume you. Yeah. And that's the point I want to make out of this. It's okay, you're gonna go through, everyone's gonna have hardships, it's always going to show up, they're always going to show up in many different ways doesn't care if you're a billionaire, even billionaires have money issues, they're just different than people who are in a state of poverty. But it's, it's the thing of the difference between someone who's like a billionaire maker, or even a multimillionaire. They know this too shall pass as you shared. And they know that they will grow from this and learn from this to get to that level where they want to get to. So yeah, that's what I want to kind of just emphasize on it.
John Mendez:Yeah, definitely. There's one, one thing that I, that I seen, I get a lot of stuff from podcasts and get a lot of good information. I know, the audience got good information from this, but the one thing I heard is, strive to become the person that's strong enough, so that at the funeral, everyone comes to lean on your shoulder. And that's not to say that you can't cry. That's not to say that you can't experience you know, sadness or grief. But, you know, strive to become that person that's, you know, strong enough to, even in a time where a lot of people are sad, and experienced negativity, and you know, you're strong enough to be able to, you know, handle your own whatever you're experiencing at that point in time, and carry the weight of others on alongside you, because they're not strong enough to hold and not saying that they're weak, whatever. But, you know, because, you know, they're crying, they're in grief. And then that and another thing I was always, at least from my funerals, personally speaking, I don't want anyone wearing black. If I could, like wake up mid funeral, and I see anyone wearing black out, kick them out. Why? Because if, you know, at least cuz I'm Christian, not to get to like religion or anything, but like, you know, for us, it's like, I pass away. You know, if everyone believes that I'm going to heaven, what is extremely positive, you know, perfect place, right? Why on earth? Would that be a sad event? Right? Why would that you know, so when I pass away, I'm gonna make sure that I write somewhere. Black is not, you know, allowed at this function. This is not a sad day, this is a day to remember the good times. Yeah, you know, it's not to say, oh, you know, but you your loved ones are gonna be hurt. Yeah, of course, they're gonna be hurt. But, you know, I want to live on my way in a life where it's like, I don't want to be remembered, remembered or, you know, in any negative light. I feel like that's, you know, a negative way of remembering someone. At least that's how I feel personally. And I don't want to be remembered for negativity, I don't want to have anything to do with negativity at all. Well, I live a positive life where I help people and hopefully inspired and impacted a lot of lives and a lot of change. And so the whole thought of wearing black on black to a funeral just doesn't sit well with me personally. So I'm gonna make sure somewhere in some trusts, some will somewhere that I write that down. So and and whoever is, hopefully whoever's in charge knows how to follow rules and know how to enforce them. So I can have my funeral the way I want it, even though I won't be in attendance. But yeah, as we kind of start wrapping up a little bit, I just want to know, because we could probably talk for hours on this topic. I love having conversations like this where it's just like, you just get deep into your mind and like deep into these thoughts and way of viewing things just like as I know, Grant Cardone knocked butts like there's a saying it's like we live two lives first creation and second creation. I think you might be familiar with it first. Creation is the life we live out in our mind and our subconscious. It's all our thoughts, the things we think about. And the second life is what we actually live in the real world. Because where we are now it just accumulation of our time. As thoughts, no matter how you look at it, right, that's the whole idea behind the first life, you know, first creation, second creation, whether that's seven, when you were seven, as you said, or five, when you were super impressionable, or whether that was in your teenage years, or whether that was in your adulthood. And there's some thoughts that led up to, you know, whatever situation we're currently yet, and it's, you know, it's a tough job, but it's your job to kind of go in there and time travel a little bit through memory lane, and figure out which were the thoughts that kind of left us hopefully, whether you know, that's a good place that you're in currently, or not the best spot, you know, but you have to go back through memory lane and kind of reflect so if anyone wants to kind of, you know, continue to learn more about this stuff and continue to have conversations like this, you know, where could they reach out to you? Where could they find you, you have any, you know, I know you do coaching, how can they get in touch with that, you know, where where's the best place for them to reach you at.

John Mendez:is amazing. And let's see if you don't mind. It is time for the final four questions. Are you ready? Sir? So question number one is what is the most impactful lesson that you learned in life?
Unknown:Who, wow, I'm gonna use one of my favorite quotes. Because learning this has really changed my whole life. Lao Tzu, he's the founder of Taoism. And he stated mastering others is strength and mastering yourself is true power. And when I learned I had a can master myself and that's in two ways. One is my emotions, how to keep it calm. How do I react to things to, you know, understand why I'm reacting that way? But more importantly, how can I recenter my nervous system to get back to center? And why is that? So? There's a whole I could write a whole book on that alone. And the the other one is my mind, you know, we have gatekeepers at the front. Know, and keep control that stinking thinking or the monkey in my head that comes in and tries to you know, those are my, my limiting beliefs or I'm not good enough at this or XYZ, what I grew up with, and how to keep that in control. When I can do both those things I'm mastering I'm really mastering myself, which then means I'm stepping into my true power.
John Mendez:Yeah, okay. And what is the most admirable trait that a person can have?
Unknown:Most admirable, admirable, admirable, right, I must set it up admirable. Um, I don't know if open mine is. But I think I think one of the, I think either I would say open mind or I say my definition of love is understanding, I think that's one of the biggest ones. So being how to understand people always say we have to be understand first before you want to be understood. And I think that's a huge trait to have, because that that helps improve the layers or the the ways of communication between individuals and so forth. And when you can do that, that actually, you listen more to their energy, their vibe, their tone, which is gonna be more authentic to what they're trying to share whatever it may be, compared to, we get so caught up in what they're saying and how they say something.
John Mendez:Yeah, definitely. And if you wanted to change someone's life with one book, what would you recommend?
Unknown:Besides my books there's one book that you know, I have so many I can share, but there's one for me that changed my life and I recommend that a lot for people is Dr. David Hawkins the power versus force. He will share everything about consciousness levels, how it gets broken down, he does it with music, religions, countries, this and that motions. And it's like it's I call it breaking down the vibration of everything he doesn't use that term uses consciousness levels, but it's one of those things where you understand the fabric of how this whole entire universe is built, in other words, and how the world how reality works and so forth from a quantum vibrational standpoint.
John Mendez:Okay, and then the final question is, what is the legacy that you're trying to leave behind in a couple sentences?
Unknown:Yeah, the legacy is trying to leave behind is to, you know, help individuals truly remember the greatness of who they are. And when I say greatness, I'm speaking from a soul perspective, not a human perspective. And if I can create some way and everything I do is aligned to that. So if I can share in some way to help someone truly remember who they are as a soul, remember that their life is infinite in the name they can achieve and create anything they desire. If I can get them to that place, that's that's then I've served my mission here. Because what it'll do for mankind, humankind and the future that is going to be astronomically, we will evolve from where we have so far.
John Mendez:That's amazing. Well, do you know what they say all good things must come to an end. And unfortunately, we reached the end of our show, it was an amazing conversation genuinely honestly. And by them I really enjoyed this conversation and getting to see a little bit more about you know, what you think and quantum physics and how that applies to because a lot of these thoughts I kind of already had, I just didn't know the words that are laws or whatever the definition for whatever the technical term, I guess you could say, and just kind of came across them through whether it was podcasts or whether it was thinking Grow Rich, whether it was a conversation I had with some random dude. And I these thoughts are kind of in accumulating and it's, it was great to have someone I was a little bit more of an expert on this kind of just bounce ideas off of each other. So this is amazing conversation.
Unknown:No, I had a blast. Thanks for having me and great questions, and I enjoyed our time.
